1961 Giulietta Sprint Veloce 1300 (price reduced!)
This genuine 101 series Giulietta S.V. chassis number ARE 161454 was manufactured in November 1961 as certified by Automobilismo Storico Archivio Alfa Romeo. It was converted to race specification in 1992. In 2005 it was imported to Britain from Holland where it had been raced successfully in Dutch national championships. It was then raced in Britain and on the Continent, in HSCC and other events, until acquired by its current owner in 2011 after which it was used only for ‘speed’ events such as the annual Crystal Palace sprint and the Course de côte d’Etretat-Bénouvile where it holds a class record. The car has been in hibernation over the past eighteen months and so will be in need of a full service and overhaul especially in respect of the braking and fuel systems. The gearbox will also need attention as 5th. gear is not engaging.

Almost new Vredestein road tyres on Classic Alfa alloy wheels with a spare set of steel wheels fitted with worn ‘L’ section Dunlop Racing tyres.

Documentation includes an FiA Historic Identity Form and an Historic Technical Passport issued by the MSA. Period: E - 1945 to 1961. FiA Class: GTS10.
The car is road registered 474 UXG with a most recent M.O.T. Certificate issued in May 2019. As it is registered as an historic car with the DVLA there is no road tax applicable.
It is eligible for a number of race series and championships including HSCC Historic Road Sports, FISCAR and Classic Alfa Challenge.
